The Lady

This is another one of the hilts and swords I did for my budy's MUD called Merth.
The sword is called the Lady, designed after The Lady herself (they say).

This one's a great-sword by the way. Human design, if I remember correct. I also did a dwarven greatsword and a really freaky elven one. Heh, and 4 more human ones.


I wanted to post the Unicorn and the Lady on deviantart because I'm rather happy with the design of the hilts (at least the lady)... and I came up with them myself. I don't think I had any outside inspiration for the swords, and because I'm rather happy with these two - at least designwise - I wanted to post em online before I spot a similar design on the web and go "Oh poo, someone's already done it".

This is almost 100% of the original, so there's no fancy detailing or such.
